Puppy visits in North Shields and Tynemouth
From January 2025 we are able to offer professional puppy visits in North Shields and Tynemouth utilising the skills of one of our colleagues, Lynne. Lynne is a very experienced dog trainer and has recently undergone a series of professional puppy training course with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT).
The structure of a puppy visit changes regularly as the dog grows. Initial sessions whilst the pup is still very young will mainly comprise of structured play, toilet training, feeding and lots of cleaning up! In time and once he/she has been given the OK by your vet we will start to spend more time outdoors introducing your puppy to the sights, sounds and smells of the world. Early socialisation is very important and done correctly your pup will grow into a well adjusted, happy and confident dog.

Puppy Visit Costs
- 30 minute puppy visit £10
- lots of structured play and training included in each visit.
- a gentle introduction to older, calmer dogs we walk as your dog gets a litte older.
- pups will graduate onto pack walks at a suitable time for your dog.
- poop bags and treats provided.
- regular photo updates provided via our social media pages.
- we can also offer optional one-to-one puppy and owner sessions with Lynne during this crucial learning stage in any dogs life. The prices of these recommended but optional sessions are £40 each and can be booked directly with Lynne.
Eventually at around 5 months, depending on the breed we aim to move the puppy onto a 1 hour pack walk but for the first few months we find that small 30 minute sessions work best.
Most people opt for two puppy visits per day but that is down to you and your requirements, we're happy to fit in around your needs and sometimes one is sufficient.

We use this time to fully take you through the structure of the puppy visits and answer any questions you have. We will use this time to begin to fill in some paperwork for insurance purposes and of course to meet and begin to get to know your new puppy and start what we hope will be a long relationship with your new pet.
