Summer is here again.

April was lovely and I for one thought that was the beginning of the summer, however May and June have been quite poor.  I can't think of a warm spell in those months....just lots of rain and wind :(  However the last couple of days have been fantastic and I am hoping that summer has finally begun!!!

I did something I rarely do when I was out with the dogs the other day.  I had myself a little sit down (there's my shoe bottom right of the picture).  I hope no one minds - certainly these 2 didn't as I repeatedly threw the tennis ball for the dogs to chase and fetch back to me.  Daisy (the Lab in the foreground) is excellent at playing fetch and she really loved being let off the lead for 10 minutes.  Barney (in the background) has no real interest in the ball and just kind of snuffles in a world of his own - he's a really lovely dog but it just go's to show they are all different.  Hopefully more warm weather will get us all onto the beach and maybe even in the water.

I also took Lewis and Islay into Tynemouth and we spent some time in the Castle Moat before heading up through the village on our way home.  These two love being out and about no matter what the weather!
